I play this same character on another PotC site...I hope this same application will be okay, if not just tell me what i need!
Name: Julie Ann Thornhill
Age: Early 30s
Family:
Colonel George Thornhill- early 60s
Victoria Linn Thornhill- late 50s
Roger Rutland Thornhill- a few years older than Julie
Pirate or No Pirate: She’s always had a curiosity for pirates but has never been given the opportunity to become one. Plus her father is a Colonel…that would be very difficult to figure.
History:
Colonel George Thornhill was part of Britain Armed Forces ever since his early 20s. Luckily for him he met his future wife, Victoria Banning, before that, as mere children of ten or eleven. If he hadn’t of met her at that time then he would never of found love. After his rank in the army increased, his time at home decreased. It was an incredible shocker that he even found time to reproduce. Twice in fact! Roger was born in London, and in the nick of time. Two days later the family was sent off to another Army base in the south of France. They only stayed there for a few years and once again moved just in the nick of time. This time however, their next child was born just as soon as they reached their destination of Spain. Little did Julie know, this would be the story of her life. Every time she felt reasonably comfortable in her surroundings, they would be forced to move, due to the Colonel’s job.
He was horribly good at whipping men into ship shape for the army. That was why he continued to move to each station. He had to make sure the British Armed Forces were absolutely perfect. Instead of keeping his work at the stations, he brought it home as well. Everyone had to be perfect for him and nothing could stand in the way of that. There was never any laughter around the Colonel. The pressure was so intense around the household that, Roger moved out as soon as he turned seventeen. Roger moved back to the place of his birth until he was twenty or so. Then he moved to the Caribbean, in search of love and happiness. Mainly though, to get away from his father.
Julie however was a pleasant child. Laughed when no one was around. Sang at times. Even danced. Although none of these qualities were worth very much to the Colonel. Her mother was never interested either. She had been sucked into the Colonel’s state of mind. Women should be quiet and look pleasant. Ha! That was never Julie. She did appear pretty, she never was quiet. She couldn’t bare it. Silence almost killed her.
The family’s final destination thus far, was the Caribbean. The Colonel wouldn’t dare see his only son waste away in the Caribbean, drinking rum and all other sorts of nonsense. Though, Julie was quite old enough to decide whether or not she wanted to live in the Caribbean, she still traveled with her family and now resides in the town of Port Royal. She’s often wanted to travel and see the world. But the right moment has never come along. That was quite like her situation with men. But here she was in one of the prettiest cities the Caribbean had to offer…

Julie had finally done it. She managed to travel the seas without her father there, nagging right beside her. Of course she didn’t land in the most charming city but still it was different. Different was what she wanted. A mile away you could smell Tortuga, and boy was it pleasant. The whole port town smelled of rum and desire. You may ask how desire smells but it can’t be answered. You just have to experience it.
Paying the ship’s captain with a few coins, she carefully made her way off the large ship. Not many people were willing to take her anywhere, especially with her father being the infamous Colonel Thornhill. Just as she began walking through the town, she figured that her smartest choice was going to be to not expose her last name. What would people think of her if they knew who her father was? Hell she wouldn’t even speak to herself then. The first thing that came to her mind was her brother’s middle name. She always loved his middle name. If someone were to ask her what her full name was then she would easily say Julie Rutland. It sounded smart.
Suddenly, she saw a grown man be thrown from the roof of one of the drinking taverns. Thank goodness it wasn’t that tall or else he would have been finished. Luckily for him, he was too drunk to even realize what had just happened to him. Laughing lightly at all of the chaos she continued to look around the town. This was going to be very different.
