Rowena walked along the sandy beach, the sun glaring down upon her. She was boiling hot yet she didn't stop, she walked up the beach, heading towards the hut in the distance. Rowena knew very little about the island that she and her crew were on, but she was desperate to find whatever was on it. She'd already lost her eldest crew member to some mysterious illness. Their cook, Raggworth, had devoloped breathing problems, but Rowena had continued to make him work hard in the kitchens. One night dinner had been late, and she had gone to find him and found him dead in the Galley, with no wounds what so ever. Rowena had sailed to Tortuga only to find many more people suffering from the same illness. She squinted at the volcano in the distance, unable to see it properly from such a far away distance. The forest infront of it completely covered the very bottom of the volcano. Whatever was going to save her crew and herself from this plague was on the island, and she needed it, and anyone who got in her way would be disposed of quickly and efficiently...

Elizabeth wondered the beach of Isla de Malum. Althought it was an extra hot day in the caribbean, it didn't stop her, and the rest of the crew from searching the island. She walked about a feet or so away from where the forest began, hoping to see some sign of something that would lead to Jack. She noticed some footprints, and decided to follow them along, although it probley wouldn't help. They were probley just someone's from the crew, but she followed them anyways. She stopped for a moment, wiping her forhead of the sweat, and looked around the beach, when she noticed somebody.

Rowena looked around, her hand to her forehead to see who it was walking along the shores. It wasn't any of her crew, and that worried her. She didn't look like an inhabitant of the island either. Rowena kept her hand near her sword as she carried on walking, glancing back at the woman every now and again. If the woman followed her she would turn and face her then, but at the moment she was now bother, and she seemed to be alone. If she had been with other people Rowena would have been more worried.

Elizabeth looked at the other person. It seemed to be a woman, and nobody who belonged to the crew of which she was with. As the woman moved, so did she. She followed the woman, trying to stay somewhat un-noticed. She didn't reconize this woman at all, and she didn't seem to be an island native, which may be good, or may not be. Elizabeth looked around, seeing if she could notice anyone from her crew, even that darn monkey, but nobody was in sight. Damn. She thought. What if this woman wasen't very friendly. She walked along the beach aimlessly, forgeting about trying to stay low from the woman.

Rowena walked to the hut, pushing the door open but not before glancing back at the other woman making her way up the beach. Rowena frowned and shut the door behind her, looking around for any signs of an inhabitant. "Hello?" Rowena asked, walking through into another room. The hut only seemed to have two rooms, which was odd. Surely someone had lived in the hut, two rooms were hardly enough to live in. Both rooms were completely empty as well. Rowena bent down to examine the floor, which was covered in small strips of wood. She picked up a piece, but it disappeared to dust between her fingers. Brushing her hand off she stood up again, noticing another door for the first time. She crossed the room and put her hand on the makeshift wooden handle, which looked wet and rotten. The wood, however, fell apart in her hand, falling to the floor in small chunks. She supposed it was all rotted away. Putting her fingers beside the door she worked it open with difficultly, and swung the door open, gasping in surprise when she saw a skeleton hanging from inside the small dark room. "I guess someone is home," she joked, shutting the door and walking towards the door of the hut. It was odd, but it seemed like whoever had once lived in the hut had died a long time ago.

Elizabeth slowly, and quietly followed the woman to the hut, of which she had entered. Elizabeth walked around to the side, crouching below the window. She listened quietly to see if the woman said anything. After awhile there had been no conversation, so Elizabeth had decided to head back to the beach, and contuine to search for Jack. She began walking back to the beach, when she heard the woman gasp. She turned around, to see what the deal was, but nothing followed, so she turned around, and contuinued walking.

Rowena pushed the door of the hut open, seeing the woman walking away from the hut. She narrowed her eyes and drew her sword, it was apparent the woman would hear it. "Turn around!" Rowena ordered. "Turn around now!" She repeated, angry at this woman for following her. If she didn't get her off her tracks then she would follow her, and she might even get a hold of whatever it was that Rowena needed. She couldn't take that risk - she wouldn't take that risk. For the sake of all her crew and those inhabiting Tortuga Rowena needed whatever it was that would save them.

Elizabeth jumped, and froze at the moment of the woman yelling at her. She turned around slowly, keeping her one hand down, near her side, covering the end of her sword. "Who are you?" Elizabeth said sternly, "What is your perpose here?" She asked. If she was caught following, she might as well ask questions. By the sound of the womans voice, she seemed tough, almost like a pirate. But Elizabeth didn't know of many female pirates, because most men belived it was bad luck to have a woman on the ship.

Rowena walked a little forward, her sword at the ready should she need to use it. "My purpose here is my own business, I only ask that ya leave me alone," Rowena said. "I do not take kindly to strangers who like to follow me around, got it?" Rowena snarled. The girl didn't sound too vicious, but Rowena's eyes flickered to the sheathed sword the woman had, and she became ever more weary of her. "I don't owe ya any explaination as to who I am, but you owe me. Who are ya, and why were ya following me?" Rowena asked.

"I tell you who I am, and you tell me who you are." Elizabeth stated. She didn't know weather or not to trust the woman. She noticed that she too had a sword, but what was she doing here? Elizabeth, still unsure about this woman, but she would tell her name. "I am Elizabeth. I'm from Port Royal. I was following you because I did not reconize you, and I wanted to see if you were a threat or not." Elizabeth said, noticing that the woman was looking at Elizabeth's sword.

"A threat?" Rowena repeated, stepping forward again, her sword getting closer to Elizabeth now. "Elizabeth Swann, ah? Governor Swann's daughter, I presume. What brings ya here to Isle de Malum then?" Rowena asked, sheathing her sword again, deciding the girl would be no threat what so ever. What kind of exprience would Elizabeth have with a sword anyway, she was the Governor's daughter, after all. "I'm Rowena Moira," Rowena said, not mentioning she was a Captain right now. If this woman was who she said she was Rowena wasn't going to admit she was a pirate. What kind of stupid behaviour would that be?

"Ah, so you've heard of me." Elizabeth said, wondering if she knew how she had travled with pirates, and was quite good with the sword, and not just carried it for looks. "But tell me, what have you heard of me, Rowena?" Elizabeth asked, taking her sword out of hiding, but with her hand still near by, in the ready, just as Will had taught her. "I don't belive that I have heard much of you, but I'm guessing your quite well with that sword there."

"All that I know is that ya are a Governor's daughter, ma'am, and I believe ya know enough about me already," Rowena glanced down at her sword, and then back at Elizabeth. "Ya'd better keep ya distance, got it?" Rowena asked, turning around and heading towards the cave now. She wasn't going to let this foolish girl mess this up, she was going to find this thing and cure herself of this plague. It seemed to affect the elderly first, perhaps the more vunerable people were affected.

"Governor's daughter, thats all I'm ever known for" Elizabeth mumbled, after Rowena had began to walk away. Elizabeth didn't trust her one bit, so she too began to walk towards the cave. Once she had arrived there, Elizabeth guessed that Rowena had arrived there first. She looked into the cave, seeing nothing but darkness. Elizabeth himed and hawed about weather or not to go in, but what if the clue to finding Jack was in there? She slowly began to walk in, then settling into a more moderate pace.

Rowena carried on walking, heading into utter darkness. She heard a noise and swung around, her sword out once again. She saw the figure of the girl again and she snarled. "I told ya to leave me alone!" Rowena said, unable to see anything but the outline of the girl in the dark. "Didn't ya father teach ya any manners?" she asked, and swung her sword around to hit Elizabeth directly in the arm. She didn't have the intention to kill right now, that wasn't her priority, she merely wanted Elizabeth to leave.
