William watched as elegant Elizabeth ran down stairs into her room, and he heard her rummaging through her personal belongings. She seemed to have really buried the chest in there for it sure did take a while to get it. Finally the brunette reached the chest and galloped back up the stairs past Scarlett who was a member of the crew and placed it on the floor. Will walked closer to the chest, and bent down to see it. Behind him he heard the small banging of the heels of Jack’s pirate boots, and his voice followed, his words gently telling Elizabeth to open the chest. She obeyed him, of coarse she would, she would do anything for her lovely Jack. She attempted to crank it open, but only after a few tries she actually did. William leaned forward to see what was inside the chest, and his mouth almost dropped once he did see it. It was an armlet… How the bloody hell was this supposed to save Jack? He was expecting something like dust, or some kind of food… not a snazzy golden bracelet. What was it supposed to do?
Behind him, and also behind Jack Sparrow he heard a femmine voice. His head turned to see Scarlett, and his right brow rose above his left. He was sort of surprised, after all Jack was right about to put it on himself… And now she wanted to see it. He watched Jack’s lips curve into a smile and say in a rather rough voice “what’s it to yah lass?” He had just pushed the young women’s buttons, and her eyes glared at him with anger. She shouted back to him. Will winced slightly, and his head turned, a frown wrinkled his forehead.
”Thought she’d have most respect towards ‘er father”
He mumbled in a quite, but audible voice. Right then he knew he had said the wrong words, and the expression on his handsome face just seemed to say “whoops…”

”Thought she’d have most respect towards ‘er father”
Scarlett was about to continue on her rant towards Captain Jack when William's words registered. Slowly, she turned around to look at him, her face blank. What? she thought dumbly. Surely he didn't mean... Trembling slightly Scarlett took a few steps toward Bootstrap Bill's son. She wasn't sure what to say, so she just said the first thing that came to her mind.
"What are you talking about?"
She refused to believe what William just said. After all, she must have heard wrong. Until she heard Will's full explanation, Scarlett wouldn't think anything of it. But her mind was churning. She was thinking. About how much she agreed with everything Jack said, how their view were alike... Even, she realized, their eyes looked the same... It was possible. No! It was stupid, she wouldn't think about it. That probably wasn't what William meant at all. A look of confusion in her chocolate-brown eyes, Scarlett waited for William to answer. She didn't look at Jack.

Inside his mind he was praying, just praying that father and daughter had not heard his previous comment. But if his words hadn’t been heard the time after them would be filled with the annoyed words of Scarlett, not an eerie silence… So the gods did not grant his prayer, some gods they were. Behind him he heard the tip tapping of her shoes on the wood, he could tell it was not Jack because these steps were lighter. Moments after the panging ended the brunette spoke. She asked him what he was talking about, hadn’t she just heard the few words that just came out of his mouth… Or did she need him to explain further.
”Jack… Think its ‘bout time you took it from ‘ere mate”
Will stood up, and flicked his eyes over in Jacks direction, and he nodded to him. The twenty one year old gentleman backed up to lean against the ship’s wooden banister. And how did William come across this piece of information? It happened during their adventure to get the Black Pearl back into the hands of Captain Jack Sparrow. Will was sober, but of coarse Jack was drunk. They were sitting at the table in the basement of the ship, drinking rum. Jack had said to him “did’yah know… Miss. Scarlett is me daughter” Will was surprised, he knew Jack had had his affairs, but his daughter on his ship… Wow.

Scarlett's adamant attitude sure was enough to raise any captain's temper, especially that of Captain Jack Sparrow. How dare she talk to him like that, even if she was his daughter? Jack simply wasn't about to stand for that sort of behavior, and was about to reprimand her when he a barely audible comment, yet audible enough for the captain to hear it. It, surprisingly enough, came from Will, and caused Jack to swivel on his heels at the sound of it.
"Thought she’d have most respect towards ‘er father."
Jack simply was incredulous - how the bloody hell did Will know that Scarlett was his daughter? He wouldn't have divulged that sort of information even to Will, albeit as close as they were; not if he was sober. With that thought, realization dawned on Captain Sparrow - it must have been one of the countless times that he had found himself drunk on rum. He himself may not remember the exact moment when he let slip this pertinent bit of information, but he at least knew that it had been when alcohol had enveloped each and every last one of his sense.
Taking a deep breath, Jack stepped over to Will, his boots clicking on the wooden deck the only sound. "Mate, must I really watch over you every single moment?" he inquired, his hands boisterously communicating his discern. "There comes a time when information such as that is meant to be revealed...but only at the opportune moment, savvy?" Narrowing his eyes slightly, he thought back to the first time that he had given Will the 'opportune moment' speech, back when Elizabeth had promised herself to Commodore Norrington and Will still had not yet confessed his feelings. Apparently, the young pirate had not realized the importance of the concept, shown undoubtedly by his outburst.
Then, as he had expected it, Jack heard Scarlett's outcry as the reality of Will's statement hit her. "What are you talking about?"
This was going to be quite difficult, now that the truth had been revealed in a manner much to Jack's dislike. However, he knew he had to tell Scarlett someday - it just came sooner than he had hoped. Standing there for a moment, merely gawking disbelivingly at Will, Jack was brought back to the current moment by Will's prodding words. "Jack… Think its ‘bout time you took it from ‘ere mate."
Tossing one last glance at Will, Jack turned to face Scarlett, a wary grin on his face. "Scarlett..." he started, trying to will away the awkwardness that this conversation would undoubtedly possess. The girl's expression was painful enough, for it seemed as if she wished the truth of the situation to be farce...it only made things harder. How could Jack possibly tell her, although she had essentially already been told? "It's true, love."

"Scarlett... It's true, love."
Scarlett couldn't believe what she was hearing. Her mind was whirling, and all of a sudden she felt dizzy, and a bit sick. But she had never been seasick... Oh my god. Scarlett stared at Jack, not really seeing. Captain Jack Sparrow, her father? How on Earth...? It couldn't be. Why, she would know. Wouldn't she? But there was no way she could know. There was no room in Scarlett's mind to wonder who her mother was. She didn't quite believe what had just been revealed. Jack. Her father.
"What?" Scarlett heard herself ask the question, but it was distant and echoey, as if somebody else had said it. She was utterly, completely stunned. It wasn't possible. But... why else would he say it? And still, why would Will Turner know? Why would Jack tell him of all people?
"Why... why didn't you tell me?" she managed. Scarlett felt like she was choking. Slowly, she was coming back to her senses. She didn't feel dizzy anymore, didn't feel like the ship was caught in a storm. After a moment, she began to become aware of everyone else on deck apart from Jack. The crew had been silent, but now murmurs were breaking out, many were staring at her dumbly. She didn't look at Will or Elizabeth... she wondered... Did Elizabeth know? Who else knew?

Elizabeth was quite confused enough with the armlet, but when Will came out and spoke about how Scarlett shouldn't be rude to her father it confused her even more. Was Scarlett actully Jack's child?
''Scarlett... It's true, love."
What. But how come had never told her, or anyone else? And why did Will know? There were so many diffrent thoughts going through Elizabeth's head right now, but it all would be better off if she didn't ask any of them, and maybe ask Will about what he knows later. Elizabeth could see a faint resemblance between Scarlett and Jack, expically their chocolate brown eyes. They looked almost idientical.

"Why... why didn't you tell me?"
As Scarlett posed this inquiry, Jack couldn't help but grimace. He knew that he should of told her the truth a while back, be had never been able to. For the devil's sake, it was hard enough having to raise the girl after Isabella had just left him with the child and the news that she was theirs. Not just his, but theirs. From that moment, Jack's life had changed. And it was not because he had impregnated a woman and by default was now faced with the consequences...no, Jack was infamous for such. Yet this was the first time that the aformentioned child had been left in his care.
Scarlett, after having been left with Jack, was raised on the Black Pearl, coming to know the ship as her own. When Barbossa had taken over the ship, the young girl had escaped, undoubtedly to explore the world on her own; after all, she had for sure acquired Jack's curious nature. That had been the last time Jack had seen Scarlett, for he had concerned with getting himself off of the island he was marooned on, then regaining the Pearl. Scarlett could have returned in the time before the incident with Davy Jones, yet how could she have ever known that Jack had returned? Now she was back as a part of the crew, and faced with the news that her captain was also her father, no less!
Taking a deep breath, Jack realized that the rest of the crew was still standing there, murmurs of the divulged news now floating around on their breaths. "Back to your stations, ye scoundrels!" he shouted, his gaze however not wavering from where it lay on Scarlett's face. "The only people that I want here are Will, Elizabeth and Scarlett, savvy?"
As the crew scurried off at Jack's orders, Captain Sparrow looked down upon Scarlett and tried to smile, his attempts unsuccessful. "Look, love, I wanted to tell yah. But you see, there comes a certain time when you know it's right to tell certain people certain things, information that will undoubtedly change certain people's lives, savvy? It's called waiting for the opportune moment, and even now wasn't it." With that, he shot a glance at Will, who merely shrugged. "But yah had every right t' know."

Everyone’s faces became plastered with complete confusion. William could imagine what was going on in their heads “Jack has a son.” They all seemed to look at each other, their mouths wide open. He saw Ragetti and Pintel saying stuff to each other, and then he saw Pintel’s blistered hand reach up and smack Ragetti in the back of his head… Which of coarse sent his fake eyeball flying and him diving to the floor to look for it. Will could not help but let a single note of laughter escape his vocals. But that note was quite indeed. He turned his head to see Captain Jack Sparrow approaching him, and saw his head leading to look Will in the eye. Young Turner’s aristocratic skull to lean back. And there went Sparrow talking about the opportune moment to announce these things, if it were any simple matter Will would likely answer back “aye… But when were you planning to tell her this.” Jack would probably smack him in the back of the head like Pintel smacked Ragetti. But if Will had not carelessly blabbered the information out, Scarlett would possibly never know that Jack was her father.
His head went forward and got comfortable once Jack left to go talk to Scarlett. He did not say much other than its true. The poor lass looked like she was choking, or bringing up a hairball. She questioned why hadn’t he told her, and Will’s head went down feeling pity for both Jack and his daughter. His chocolate glazed pools glanced over at the resplendent Elizabeth to view her reaction. She seemed just about as confused as everyone else, and she also looked a little bit lost. His eyes once again looked over at Jack to see him shoo away the rest of the crew with his harsh voice, Ragetti arose with his eye back in it’s slot, and he was pushed over by Pintel, and walked over by the crew. William listened to Sparrows words, a weak smile coming to his lips, and a his shoulders heaved up when he looked at him.

This was confusing, but Elizabeth tried to listen to just what Jack would say. She was still kneeling on the ground infront of the open chest. She was concetrating so much on the situation, she didn't notice Ragetti's eye, until it rolled passed her, then she jumped a little, it still was rather disgusting to her.
"Back to your stations, ye scoundrels!
Maybe she wouldn't get to understand the situation after all. She closed the lid to the chest, and stood up.
"The only people that I want here are Will, Elizabeth and Scarlett, savvy?''
Or maybe she would. She was perfectly ready to walk in, but stopped next to Will, and held the chest.
"Will." She whispered quietly, "How did you know?" She asked being nosey.

"Damn right I had every right to know," said Scarlett quietly. Now that the worst of the shock had passed, she was feeling a little angry. For 23 years, Scarlett had known Jack. But hadn't known he was her father. Why hadn't he told her, after all this time? She deserved to know. And who was her mother? Or maybe even he didn't know. The thought made her feel a little sick. "So, Jack, when exactly was the opportune moment? When you're on your death bed? When were you planning to tell me?" Now her small hint of anger had turned to fury.
"How could you have let me live 23 years never telling me that you were my father?" Scarlett shouted. She was shaking with rage. Now she was oblivious to everyone else; she didn't even know if the whole crew was there or if it was just the two of them. And she didn't really care who heard or who saw.
Scarlett felt tears pricking her eyes, but she blinked several times, determined not to shed any tears. Why should she, anyway? She had no reason to cry. But she did have reason to be angry, there was no doubt about that.

"Damn right I had every right to know."
Of course she had every right to know, and no one was to say that Captain Jack was not feeling remorseful. There had been many a time that he had contemplated revealing the truth to Scarlett, but in accordance with a firmly believed in principe of his, the opportune moment had never arrived. When was he supposed to tell her - after Isabella had dropped her off in his arms, tears staining the future Governess Swann's cheeks? Even that thought was completely ridiculous, for Jack's newfound child wouldn't have been able to comprehend his words; his seemingly honorable attempts would have been made in vain and he would have had to tell her again at some point in time.
Raising Scarlett on the Pearl without her knowledge of the truth had been hard enough on Captain Jack. Yet he couldn't tell her then, either, for unavoidable events arose. Before he knew it, he was marooned on an island, watching Barbossa sail away on his beloved ship - which included his daughter. Being stranded alone was detrimental enough to his mental stability, yet the fact that he knew Scarlett still remained on the ship tore him up inside. Little did he know, his precious yet illegitimate child had evaded the torture that would have been working under Barbossa.
"So, Jack, when exactly was the opportune moment? When you're on your death bed? When were you planning to tell me? How could you have let me live 23 years never telling me that you were my father?"
The fact that Scarlett was now raising her voice at him, obviously enraged past the point of no return, wounded Jack more than the young woman could ever know. After Barbossa had stolen the Black Pearl, there had been a lapse of several years before the marooned captain had even had the chance to regain his beloved ship; that also meant that several years had gone by that he hadn't been able to see his daughter or tell her the truth about who she was. That, of course, contributed to his publicly viewed unstable mental capabilities. However, he wasn't really insane, merely just tortured by the absence of his daughter and the revealing of the truth being hindered.
Fortunately, though, Jack had met Will and Elizabeth during this span of time; the two were now his closest and dearest friends. Yet that still didn't solve the problem that he still hadn't seen Scarlett in quite the long while, and the infamous pirate was desperate to find his now long lost daughter. He conveyed the information that he had wanted to tell Scarlett to Will one fateful night that he had succumbed to the inevitable allure of rum. Will Turner was not the person that he wished to divulge that pertinent truth to, however. Still, the chance never came, for Jack was swept up in the ordeal with Davy Jones.
All led to the current moment - after the battle with the Kraken, Captain Sparrow had been rescued by the very person he had relayed that fateful truth to, and he was now facing Scarlett for the first time in years. The truth had in fact been revealed, and the young woman that was his daughter was greeting him with a wrath that was deserved. It was dreadful that this secret had been kept from her, but the opportune moment had never come. So was he to blame himself or fate from keeping his daughter away from him? Whatever he believed, Jack had to try and make amends in whatever way possible. "Scarlett," he started, taking a few steps towards her yet still giving her her personal space. "I'm sorry I didn't tell yah, but the time just wasn't right. There's one more thing that you should know, though, love - Elizabeth's your sister." He knew that this bout of news would bring about more shock than had already been caused, but as long as they were telling all, he would in fact be telling all. "Isabella soon-to-be-Swann was a wonderful woman, also your mother." Glancing back at Elizabeth who seemed to be whispering in hushed tones to Will, he saw her lift her gaze momentarily. Not only would this come as a shock to his own daughter, but to Elizabeth as well. "After your birth, she brought you to me to raise, continuing her life as the new Governess. Elizabeth was born soon after to her and the Governor."

Elizabeth stood there, next to Will, for what she expected to be quite a show. They all stood there quietly for a good moment, with nothing being said. The whole ordeal still confused Elizabeth. Scarlett being Jack's daugher and Will being the only won who knew this. It would confuse anybody.
"...There's one more thing that you should know, though, love - Elizabeth's your sister..."
Elizabeth suddenly looked over to Jack and Scarlett, forget that she had asked Will a question. "What!?" She said, out of shock. She began to walk foward, closed to Jack and Scarlett "Jack! You know me for how long, and you don't even bring this up! I was always right about you, your nothing but a diceving pirate." Elizabeth was upset, and now knew how Scarlett felt.

[ expect a crappola post outta me... I'm jealous of your muse ]
Will’s gentle optics flickered to Elizabeth. He suspected her to have known this, after all Jack and her did seem very close, and rather friendly.
”Jack spills a lot when he’s drunk”
He hesitated his answer and his gaze returned to Scarlet and Jack. What he just said was true, Jack did spill a lot when he had too much to drink, he had told Will of so many affairs it was unbelievable, heck he had even told him tales of his childhood, usually beginning with “when I was a lad…” And the funny thing was the stories were actually pretty interesting, but the “Scarlett’s my daughter thing caught him by surprise.
William listened to Scarlett, her silky vocals were cluttered with the pain that Jack had not told her. The confusion had passed and reality seemed to have sunken in. He could almost feel steam fly in his face when she started yelling at Jack. Jack seemed lost with words, his face a blank sheet, his mind fumbling with thoughts. Will waited, waited to see what the captain would say next. The think he said after his apology hit Will hard. Elizabeth's your sister.". His teeth clenched, he could feel his tongue getting squished beneath his dentals. Now he was confused, and the scowl on his face proved it.
”What?”
He whispered, repeating Elizabeth. And he kissed her as well…. They were like a generation apart .
