"Beckett has it… Norrington gave Beckett the heart."
Realization seemed to have dawned on young William, for this outburst seemed urgent and newfound. Jack, having dawled with the East India Trading Company before, did not take this bit of news lightly. He had profited from such dealings, but with Beckett holding custody of Davy Jones's heart, the outcome was not to be auspicious at all; things were better off when Will, Norrington and himself were all battling for the possession of it. Will wanted it so that he could kill the captain of the Flying Dutchman and save his father, Norrington had wished to claim it in an attempt to regain some of his honor (which he apparently was already doing), and Jack...well, Jack wanted the heart to save his own skin.
Even though Captain Sparrow's reasoning for wanting Davy Jones's heart was not at all amiable, his possession of aformentioned organ would have been far less detrimental than Beckett having it. Lord Cuttler Beckett, as leader of the East India Trading Company, could use the heart as a vital source in his endeavors. Unfortunately for everyone else, his means were not benevolent - he would control the seas. If what Will was saying was true, he currently did control the seas.
However, before Jack had the chance to respond, a large thud interrupted his thoughts. Will's ore had struck a sandy white beach...land. Offering a hand to Will, Jack helped him climb out of the rowboat and onto shore, admiring the Tenebrous from a mere few feet away. It really was a remarkable ship, yet it could never be the same as the Pearl. "Oye!" he shouted, nearing his new craft with giant steps, the pirate who had rescued him close behind. "Get out here ye scurvy dogs, ol' Jack is back!" A toothy smirk arose on his face as he gazed up at the deck, awaiting to see if anyone would respond.

Elizabeth was down in the ship, sitting, talking with some of the crew, when she heard something. ''Oye! Get out here ye scurvy dogs, ol' Jack is back!". No. It couldn't be could it? She stood up, and left where she was and went up onto the deck, being the only one leaving, and looked around the beach, where she saw William, and someone else standing.
"Jack!" She exclaimed, making her way off the ship and running over to where Will and Jack stood. She gave Jack a hug, then one to Will, "How did you find him?" She asked him, still in aw that he was standing there. She actully didn't think that finding him would of been this easy.

Perhaps his sudden outburst had been a little too dramatic. It was not that big a deal, was it? Beckett may not have even had the heart, Norrington could have had other needs for it, perhaps alike Jack he needed to save his own skin. But him giving Beckett the living organ was saving his skin, he would have his job, and his dignity back. And if Lord Cutler Beckett had the pumping scarlet hard, then the sea would be his to control. That spelt trouble for the few pirates that lived in the Caribbean, William knew many of them would be killed, and he and Elizabeth may be on the blood wanted list.
Seeing Jack get out, William pitched his dull wooden paddle in the boat, and grasped Jack’s hand, pulling himself out of the boat. His feet hit the shallow water, but the leather protected his feet from getting wet. Two of his hands grabbed the front of the petite boat and began to pull its light mass in. Hearing Jack shout his arrival William could not help but laugh. The crew would be happy to see him, depression of being led by Barbossa affected them all. Will let go of the boat once its bottom gripped to the dry sand, and walked beside Jack Sparrow. He heard the gentle pounding of feet on the wooden surface of the boat, and his eyes saw Elizabeth slither down the rope and run to Jack and him. The same glare that he had held previously returned to his chocolate eyes when Elizabeth embraced Jack, but his facials softened when she hugged him. His arms wrapped around her small bodice and he hugged her back, but let go of her when she asked how he found Jack.
”Well…”
He began, his eyes looking at Jack, and a grin plastering to his features.
”I found his hat, and figured ol’ Jack had to be out there sum’ere. So I hopped in the boat and paddled like mad”
As simple as it sounded it was the truth. His gaze returned to Elizabeth, and his lips parted once more.
"Elizabeth, tell him about Moira"

A smirk played at the corner of Jack's lips as Elizabeth was the first and only to slide down the ropes of the Tenebrous and approach him. Thinking back to their embrace before she had cuffed him to his beloved Black Pearl, he was pleasantly surprised when she threw her arms around him in a hug; it was so spontaneous and unexpected that he didn't even have time to react, to wrap his own arms around the tender beauty. Instead, he watched as she moved onto Will and offered the same embrace to him.
"How did you find him?" Her inquiry was simple, and Jack arched his eyebrows as he awaited Will's response.
"I found his hat, and figured ol’ Jack had to be out there sum’ere. So I hopped in the boat and paddled like mad."
Aye, that was true enough, yet even Jack had to suppress laughter at the fact that his location had been found based on the finding of his hat. It was almost ironic in a way; Captain Sparrow had always insisted that his hat remain planted on his head - he dropped everything that he was doing in order to recover it if it drifted from its rightful spot. The crew undoubtedly thought such acts ridiculous, yet adhered to them without question if needed in the retrieval. Now, however, it was uncanny, for that hat had in essence temporarily saved Jack…he could still be floating idly in the ocean were it not for Will discovering his prized cap.
Jack was just content to be back with his crew, namely Will and Elizabeth. It also would be a relief to see Gibbs again, and he wondered why he had not come down to greet his captain. At Will's next statement, though, Jack stopped entirely, a perplexed expression crossing his face.
"Captain Moira of the Relentless? What about 'er?"

"She's on this island Jack." Elizabeth said, "I was with her when I found the chest. She wantend it too, but to save her crew from something, but that was all that I pretty much got out of her." Elizabeth told him. "The hat." Elizabeth said plainly. "That hat saved him. Then why the hell did I have to go down in that horrid cave with Moira, and have to smell that horrible creater?" She joked. That was one of the worst things she had ever done, it was utterly disgusting. The smell, the bones, the slimy blood, and just having to be there with Moira commenting on how she just wanted the chest for personal gain.
Now that Jack was back, he would hopefuly take over for Barbossa. He was still not a kind man. He barley talked to the crew, and beacause of him he had the crew quite, and not as life like as it would be if anyone else had been captian. She didn't even know why Tia had suggested him as captian. He hated Jack, he threw him off his own ship, and now he was trying to get him back? Something just didn't fit.

”She wants ta’ kill yah Jack”
He said before Elizabeth had started her little story. William could remember the day he met Elizabeth. After his mother passed on William embarked on a journey to the Caribbean, attempting to search for his father, but his ship was attacked and sunk by the Black Pearl. He was the only survivor of the disaster and was rescued at sea by LT. James Norrington and the new governor of Port Royal, Weatherby Swann after being spotted among the debris and flotsam by Swann's daughter Elizabeth. As Will lay unconscious on the ship's deck. When he awoke he saw Elizabeth who was also twelve, he remembered the exact words she said to him, “Its okay… I’m Elizabeth Swann” and he said in reply “Will Turner.” And she said in the voice of an angel “I’m watching over you will.”
He listened to Elizabeth, nodding at what she said. The Renentless’ crew was out there, probably searching for the boat, they possibly could be out in the bushes, spying on their crew, seeing what they were up to and where the chest was. His eyes flicked upward as his fiance joked about the chest being completely worthless. If the Renentless wanted it so badly it had to be worth something, they had not even opened it.
”Tia said we needed it to save Jack… Not find him. Perhaps whatever is wrong with her crew, will happen to Jack”
He said, his eyes darting to Jack. Will was curious to see what had occurred to Captain Moira’s crew, maybe they had caught some sort of diesese, or prehaps they were trapped in a spiral bone cage like Will and the crew had been on that native island.

"She wants ta’ kill yah Jack."
Ah, didn't Captain Sparrow know this all too well. Ever since the so-called incident with Rowena's father for which the captain of the Relentless blamed Jack, she had been out to kill him. Revenge for her, apparently, wasn't satisfying enough until the opposed ended up a casualty of war. That she had informed someone else of her intention to rob Jack of his life proved the situation to be a bit more serious than he had thought. Also, what was she doing on the island? Elizabeth soon answered this inquiry although Jack had not asked it aloud. So she was here to retrieve the chest that Miss Swann currently had in her possession, and in order to save her crew.
But from what? Unfortunately, Jack had been away for too long to know of any recent happenings, including whatever was going on with Moira's crew. Perhaps it was some disease, or maybe even some fate worse than death. Whatever the case, why did Elizabeth want the chest so badly? If it was going to help her crew, then the contents must be of some aid to Jack as well.
"Tia said we needed it to save Jack… not find him. Perhaps whatever is wrong with her crew will happen to Jack."
As soon as Will spoke, Jack noticed his gaze snap to lay on him. Bloody hell, so whatever was in that chest was essential to Jack's well-being. Now it was imperative that they acted in haste; for knowing Captain Rowena Moira, she was probably lurking in the bushes, waiting for the right moment to launch a surprise attack and regain the chest. "Well what are we bloody well waiting for?" Jack asked, throwing his hands up in the air to emphasize the importance of the events about to perpetuate. A quick glance at Elizabeth showed the worry in his eyes. "Open the chest, love!"

Elizabeth saw the look of worry in Jack's eyes, something that she had never saw on his face before. "Well, its on the ship, why don't you two come up. The chest is down with my belongings. I can go get it, and we can do it up on the deck, just incase. Who know's what in these bushes." Elizabeth said, looking around, then heading back over to the ship, not really waiting. It would take her a while to go down and get it anyways.
Once she had climbed abord the ship, she went down to where she had her possesions, and rummaged around until she found the box. She then made her way back up to the deck, where she stood alone once again. "You two!" She yelled out to Will and Jack, "Do you plan on coming up and getting whatever is in this chest?" She asked, holding the chest against the side of the ship.

Whatever was going to get Jack would probably travel into the rest of the crew’s systems because they were around his a lot, that’s what happens when you’re a captain. If you have a cold and sneeze, the rest of the crew will catch a cold. That was the life of a pirate, plain and simple. It was like what happened to Barbossa, he was cursed, so his crew became cursed. That was the price of piracy.
Will caught the look in Captain Jack’s dark optics. It was the same glint of worry that was in his eyes when they were in the water at the native’s island. William had asked Gibbs “what has Jack so spooked.” Later on he discovered that he owed a blood debt to Davy Jones, but that was after Jack selfishly handed Will over to the Flying Dutchmen. That debt had still not been repaid and William wondered what the captain was going to do. Jones would more than likely be keeping a watch full eye on what the Kraken brought in, and what appeared in his locker, he would be looking for Jack like an eagle looking for it’s supper. And if Jack did not come through, then he would send his aquatic crew after him.
His puppy dog like eyes scanned the forest looking to see if the Relentless was there, there was no sign of people in the foliage. No hats peeking above the bushes, and no eyes between the spaces of the leaves. Thankfully they were not there… at the moment anyway. Will released his feet from the soggy sand and followed Elizabeth up onto the ship. With the boat being on land there was no way of getting up except for climbing up the incredibly thick ropes. So that was what young William done, his hands grasped the rope, and he pulled himself up like a monkey climbing up a tree. When it came to the last meter of rope young Turner swung himself onto the deck, and his feet hit the wooden floor with a large bang. Immediately the chatter down stairs stopped and he could hear them running up the stairs. Their eyes looked behind Will and to see Jack standing there put a smile on their faces. ”Its Jack!” one shouted out and the rest threw their hands up in the air and shouted ”Hooray!”

Whatever was in this chest evidently was going to save Jack's life, even if it was temporarily. He had evaded death in battle with the Kraken, but apparently he was still plagued as a sufferer per his unpaid debt owed to Davy Jones. The relentless captain of the Flying Dutchman had sent his terrible beastie after Jack in an attempt to vanquish the infamous pirate and settle his debt, yet even that proved unsuccessful; Jack was alive even after the intense struggle with the aformentioned Kraken. Davy Jones undoubtedly believed that his monster had finished off Captain Sparrow, condemning him to the depths and a locker. If he did not find Jack resting eternally in his watery grave, then he would automatically assume that something had gone awry.
After all, this was not the first time that Jack had evaded what everyone else assumed to be his fate. Captain Sparrow had bested the devil on numerous occasions, manipulating the scene and sometimes other people to save his own skin. However, this case proved to be more serious than the others, for this was a life-or-death matter with Davy Jones. When Jones did not find Sparrow in death, he would return to search for him in life, most likely summoning another one of his terrible beasties to accomplish the dastardly deed.
Yet for now, Jack was focused on retrieving whatever contents lay inside that chest. At Elizabeth's call from up on the deck of the Tenebrous, Jack climbed the ropes to join her and Will; the young pirate had already begun his ascent aboard the massive vessel. As he grasped the thick cord that was his passage up to the ship, Jack paused for a brief moment, reveling in the familiarity of this feeling. He really was a pirate at heart, Captain Jack Sparrow was. Simply returning to his ship brought a sense of solace to him, and he wasn't even technically onboard yet - he waited with bated breath for the moment that the ship set sail and they were out amongst the open sea again.
Finally, his booted feet landed sturdily on the deck of the Tenebrous, an audible thud announcing his arrival. It really was good to be back. Hearing a sudden silence from down below, a smirk crept onto the returning captain's face, his gold teeth glinting in the afternoon sun. His crew had undoubtedly heard the sound of his boots clanking on the deck of the ship, and as he heard the pitter-patter of feet rushing up flights of stairs, Jack's suspicions were confirmed.
"Jack!" the crew shouted upon seeing him, their hands being thrown up in the air in excitement. "Hooray!"
Looking around, Jack recognized many familiar faces - Gibbs, Pintel, Ragetti, Cotton, and of course Will and Elizabeth. Yet one face that he had been recently informed of being on board was missing...Barbossa. Although he was not complaining, Captain Sparrow didn't view the temporarily appointed captain of the Tenebrous anywhere. Some captain he was. "Aye, mates, nothing can best your captain, not even death itself!" Jack instead greeted those who had come up on the deck, boasting unwisely. Even though he had evaded fate thus far, Jack was not safe yet. Glancing over at Elizabeth, his gaze drifted to the chest that lay in her hands; the time to open it was now. As he walked over to the young beauty, his heels clicked upon the wooden deck of the ship, all eyes upon his form. "Now, let's 'ave a look inside this chest..."

Elizabeth nodded to Jack's request, and placed the chest on the deck, then kneeling infront of it. She looked at the place of where you were supposed to open it, it didn't seem locked, but it was awful hard to open, almost as if it was a bit rusty. "Damn thing," She muttered, still trying to pry it open. Finaly she heard a 'cling' sound, and the box opened revealing its contents.
"And inside the chest we have an armlet." Elizabeth said holding up the armlet. It was gold, and had a rustic, antique look to it. It had to be some hundred years old at least. "I guess this is what is needed to save you, Jack. Maybe you have to put it on or something." Elizabeth suggest. She studied the armlet, to see if she could make out any incricptions, but there were none, and it was the only thing in the box. Their best bet was to guess what you do with it.

Scarlett couldn't believe it when Captain Jack appeared on the side of the ship. "Oye! Get out here ye scurvy dogs, ol' Jack is back!" At his first words that he spoke to the crew, Scarlett's face broke out into a wide grin, but she didn't cheer and holler like the rest of the crew; The noise was already deafening, she didn't need to help. Elizabeth ran over and embraced Jack, and Will Turner followed her over to greet him. Scarlett didn't know the pair of them personally all that well, even though they'd been on the Pearl for quite awhile. She was actually avoiding them slightly. Scarlett had a habit of doing that when she wasn't sure about people. It was her strategy. Avoid them, stay away at first, and after you've decided what they're like, then you talk to them. It always worked.
Captain Jack, Elizabeth Swann, and Will Turner conversed for a few minutes, and then Elizabeth disappeared for a moment, only to return with the chest. The crew gathered around, now silent. She opened the chest. Inside was an old, gold armlet. Many of the crew murmured and whispered, confused. Scarlett pushed a few men out of her way to get a better view. For they were all men; Besides Elizabeth, Scarlett was the only woman on board at the moment, she was pretty sure. Scarlett frowned slightly, examining the armlet from a distance. She didn't have a clue what it was for or what it did, but she had a bad feeling about it. Don't put it on. Scarlett didn't know where the thought came from. Why shouldn't someone put it on?
Scarlett wondered if there were any inscriptions or symbols of any kind on the armlet. She couldn't see it closely enough. Apparently, Elizabeth was thinking along the same lines. Her face was very close to the armlet. All of a sudden, Scarlett stepped forward out of the circle of crew members surrounding Jack, Will, Elizabeth, and the armlet. "Can I see it?" she asked swiftly. She knew they would probably be surprised she'd asked; she was just a crew member after all. But Scarlett wanted to look at it for herself.

Jack arched an eyebrow as Elizabeth opened the chest, finding its contents to be a rather rustic-looking armlet. What was it bloody supposed to do to help him? Even though he had been involved in many an adventure, he couldn't help but remain skeptical. Truth be told, Jack had expected something...well, else. He couldn't fathom how this piece of junk, as he considered it, could help save his life. Well, there was only one way to find out, and that was to put it on. Taking the armlet from Elizabeth, Jack was about to strap it to right limb when someone from the crew stepped forward and interjected an opinion; it would not have caught his attention had the voice not been female.
"Can I see it?"
As soon as she spoke, Jack recognized the owner of the voice right away. Scarlett - his illegitimate daughter. Of course, the young lady had no idea that the man who was captain of the ship she was on was also her father, but he himself knew. Isabella Swann, that of course not having been her name when Jack knew her, was a vivacious woman; she was full of spunk and energy. Life was embodied in her very soul, a trait that was also reflected in Scarlett and Elizabeth.
Way back when, Captain Jack Sparrow and Isabella had become entranced by one another, the former more so than the latter. A romance, although brief and fleeting, had ensued, to which Scarlett was the product. Yes, Scarlett was Jack's daughter with the Governess Swann, even though she had not yet held that title. Elizabeth, although presumed by some rather obscene pirates in Tortuga to also be Jack's child, was not. The beauty that Jack found himself falling for ever so slowly was indeed the daughter of Isabella and Governor Weatherby Swann.
To see Scarlett now caused Jack to smile before remembering that the matter of saving his own life was in order. Taking a few steps toward her, he held the armlet in front of her face. "What's it to yah, lass?" he questioned, his tone harsher than he intended, yet still retaining a certain softness. She was his daughter after all. Captain Sparrow was quite the character, and even those close to him had trouble figuring him out, shown by the tone with which he spoke. Many, if they knew of the father-daughter relationship between Jack and Scarlett would know that he spared her his temper, yet would find it ironic that his brashness still came through - that as a result of wanting to save his own skin.

"What's it to yah, lass?"
Scarlett wasn't surprised when Captain Jack stepped forward and questioned her a bit harshly. After all, if it was something that was supposed to save her life, she figured that she'd be a bit selfish about it too. "I just want to see it!" she snapped, her eyes flashing. A few men looked at the Captain apprehensively. Not many dared to speak to him like that. And she, one of the only women on board! But Scarlett wasn't at all bothered to speak to Jack however she liked. He wasn't a king, for god's sake.
Only one person alive knew that the person Scarlett was glaring at was her own father. Jack knew who Scarlett really was, his child, and Isabella's. Elizabeth's half-sister. Scarlett had no idea, and she never suspected that she could be related to Captain Jack Sparrow. Sure enough, she had no idea who her parents were, but frankly, Scarlett didn't care. She was happy living on the Black Pearl, the ship that, in her dreams, she would be the Captain of some day.
Holding out her hands, Scarlett waited for the Captain to hand over the armlet. "I'm not going to do anything to it," she said, irritated. But she calmed herself, not wanting to blow her chance to examine it by being brash. "I just want to look." Scarlett waited, ignoring Will and Elizabeth, waited for Jack to say something.
